The Wright Family's music takes on many different faces. Appealing to the listening ears of traditional, urban contemporary, soft listening and hip-hop listener, they do it all.
Their sound goes well beyond basic listening pleasure into the realms of spiritual harmony. Their message is clear, and their sound is universal. Listeners of every walk of life can appreciate the beautiful music created by this group and be enlightened by their message. The sound compels one to listen and the words compel one even more to believe. There is not a sector of the listening public that The Wright Family does not appeal to. This tightly-knitted Andrews, South Carolina based family released its first album, "In Praise" in February of 1998. The response since has been phenomenal. Their deeply rooted church background is evident in their material, having grown up sing in their parents' church. To say that they are self-sufficient would be an understatement, since the entire project, including writing and production originates from their own creativity. Even their label (WrightSeed) is family owned.
The future is bright for "The Wright Family" as they prepare to release their sophomore album, "Close than Ever".
